In the Fall of 2009 Kristin Mueller independently led a third-year undergraduate studio for Texas Tech University in El Paso which culminated in an International Port of Entry project. Below are chronological links to the progression of projects through which she guided the students. The projects required them to go from (respectively) observing structuring mechanisms in nature, to those in the built environment, to non-physical systems at work in the program type, to understanding organizing metrics for those systems and possible considerate massings, to final developed projects.
